Just read this, and please note, this is NOT a credible source (before the haters start attacking). That being said, just wonder where this came from, if it all. PS, if you guys already chatted about this, my bad, I have been out of town for about a week:

http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/31789852

I think it's complete crap for the record, just a Miami fan, but for some reason it struck me as odd and thought I would post this nonetheless ...
The university loses 10 Football schlarships in 2012, 8 in 2013, and 5 in 2014. There will be no television appearances in 2012, and no post season eligibility in 2012 or 2013."

Guh...if that's true, I guess Fickell will have a three-year trial run with the team. Hopefully it isn't. Especially the "no TV next year" part, as that would detract from my Saturday all-day drinking and watching FB get-togethers with friends.

How would that not get out to the mainstream media after almost a week? Not buying it.

No chance this is credible. If that is the case, then the NCAA needs to hire about 2000 more investigators, because nobody will ever self-report again.

This wasn't something that would come anywhere close to justifying dusting off the TV ban. Not a chance this is true.

+1 The NCAA already said that Tressel acteed alone and the school it self did nothing wrong. Gene Smith is just a tard and didn't handle the situation right. There will be no bowl or TV ban. I would be surprised if we even lose scholarships. I expect a longer probation and that is about it.

The comments are hilarious! U fans thinking that what happened there is "about the same" as what happened at OSU. You know, minus the sex parties and abortions.

What OSU did was not worse than what USC did. I believe that USC's were less than this. (at least I don't think they got a TV ban). So I don't think this is true.

I actually heard that they were getting the death penalty.

It came from a very credible source. My mailman said that he heard it from a michigan fan at the distribution center in Toledo.

Yet somehow, 3 Buckeyes were suspended for two games for taking $200 when Jacory Harris and Co. were suspended just the one game for taking MORE money? How does that happen?

They missed the second game because their stories didn't match up with each other as far as where the money came from.

Neither the Miami nor the OSU (or Alabama, auburn, Oregon, etc) cases are complete.

I see, I did not know that. I guess from the time all the Miami stuff broke, to the time they were actually questioned, Harris and Co. had enough time to come-up with how they got their money, what hoes they banged, what shoreline most of the hookers were picked-up from, where the strippers were employed at originally and were given enough time to spew some BS story about how sorry they are.

Nonetheless, it's good to have these three back for Miami.
