Even though Colorado just joined the Pac-12, this was actually not a conference game. Because they agreed to a home and home in a contract that began last year, they decided to play out the second game despite Colorado joining the conference. Therefore, even though it was between two Pac-12 teams, this game will not count in the Pac-12 standings.

More interesting is that despite the turmoil about their future, does anyone in the Big XII actually miss Colorado? Nebraska, for sure. A&M, the swan song has begun. But Colorado? Not at all. Not that the Buffs were ever a powerhouse, but talk about a football program that has fallen apart over the last decade...
