Compared to typical Hoover teams, the 2011 Vikings are average at best...and they shut out Lexington. Heard it was a pretty dismal performance.

Doesn't matter what Hoover did to them...it matters how Orrville and Lex both respond to bad losses.

This one's a tossup. All depends on what teams show up.

I was rather surprised at the Hoover/Lex score as just the week before Louisville beat Hoover 50-7, so it appeared Hoover was down this year and I thought we scrimmaged Louisville close.

Big game for Orrville ( 16 computer points ) in our region as 3 of the 4 teams at 3-0 play winless teams and only pickup 4.5 points with their wins.

Play Red Rider football and were fine. 11 penalties and 5 turnovers and Lex (and any other school in the state of Ohio) will have a chance to beat us.

We need to cut the mistakes and turnovers to be successful thats obvious and turning the page in the offensive playbook would be OK with me as well.

This is going to be an interesting game both ways. I'll definitely have an eye on it, but will be over in Ashland to watch the Generals.

Hard to believe the Arrows are 0-3, but still you should see a very good game at Ashland.

The Generals are sitting pretty in the Akron City Series standings. Might be them vs. Buchtel for the championship.

Maybe they should restart the annual turkey bowl game on Thanksgiving! Woooster and Buchtel at the old Rubber Bowl.

Actually this is not a very good Akron City Series season, overall Ellet 2 wins, Kenmore 1 win, Buchtel, East, Firestone, Garfield , and North all are 0-3. Total record is 3-18 LOL

Trust me, people in Wooster would like to see the non-conference schedule beefed up a little. Wadsworth was a very quality opponent, and that was a winnable game.

Just two weeks ago, we were sweating to death....and tonight we'll need coats.

Hope to see this team respond well.

Nice little video from the Daily Record covering area football. They seem to think Turner and Brenner won't see much action tonight.

Orrville on top 28-6 at Halftime

Monheim having career night, and Lichti playing like a seasoned veteran.

1 penalty so far and no turnovers by the the riders!
