Can anyone stop him? Certainly, no one can guard him. He can drive, he can shoot, he can create a shot, he plays good defense, he can dribble, he can pass...what can't he do? Not to mention his charm ;)

The OCC better watch out!

Face guard him. You'd be suprised how many high school kids are completely thrown off their game when they have a shadow. And I mean a shadow, someone who follows them every single place on the court they go til they take a seat.

Zack is an amazing lil guard. Great pickup for ODU. However, I think this is a little steep praise for anyone other than Jared. lol

Zack has been a stellar guard since his freshman year...he helped lead WC to the state finals, he has scored over 1,000 points (not everyone can say that lol), and he could help lead this skilled Orange team deep into the playoffs this year. Plus, this kid can shoot!!! He drained one from NBA range last night against Mt. Vernon...how can you guard that? Step out too far and he'll cross you for the lay-up...give him too much space and he'll hit net all night. The fans don't call him St. Joseph for nothing! :)

Kid can play, I've been watching him since around 5th/6th grade, but he can indeed be guarded. It just depends on if teams are able to match up enough with the other Orange kids and are willing to play 4 on 4 ball. That's where you get into taking chances, Orange has more than one weapon.

One of the biggest "over-hyped" threads I've read in a long time. Nice player. Good skill sets. Otherwise...

"Over-Hyped?" Hype is something that's not for real. Zack Joseph is for real...ask Mount Vernon, ask the OCC, ask anyone in Central Ohio - they will all tell you he's for real. The kid can play!!!

I know Joseph and I am a fan of his game. Quality kid and player! People are going to get on you for this thread though simply due to the wording of the title. It implies a lot to some who read it.

No "over-hyped" does not mean it is not for real -- it means it is exaggerated and blown out of proportion. Of course there are dozens of high school players in Ohio that can stop him. Ask him if he wants to be guarded by Aaron Craft for example. You can compliment a player and estoll his virtues without acting like he is some "unstoppable phenom" which he is most certainly not. Joseph is a good player and it sounds like a very good kid.
***The thread is just inviting comments like mine so I accepted the invitation.

Is this a dumb thread or what. I can stop him if given the chance. Bring him to a Y some time. I throw an under cut on him her wont recover from.

Joseph is a top 15 maybe top 10 PG in his class in Ohio. Great player and great kid. As has been said on here though, the length the thread goes to to give him some love is stretched out a little.

Mr. Joseph gets his team to the final 4, Ill give him some credit. Until then, I agree. This post is one of the most hyped, out of place posts on here. If he had won anything up to know, might be different.

His Worthington Christian teams were very successful.

I think a District Title would be enough to say it has been an extremely successful year. Especially with how tough the Central District is this year.

Is he the same kid from WC , grandson of Bobby Joseph, All-American from Martins Ferry and later Notre Dame ? ( Circa 1945 )

If same , yes, he is a player, seen him from way back in JH.

He has, or his team has?

That's where the overhyped thing comes from.

I'd definitely say overhyped...who can guard him? There are players in Ohio that would destroy him.

^Good point.

I'd love to see him go 1 on 1 with anyone from Northland. You watch them on ESPN tonight? Sullinger carried them in a big way but those guys can all ball.
