Earned a footbal scholarship this year and played like a boss on special teams and defense against Akron to earn the honor of being captain vs Toledo.

Great story. Fearless special teams player. Look forward to watching him all year. Became a "crowd favorite" at the OSU party I was at on Saturday.

34 he is easy to spot because he has the extra neck protection that makes him look like an orc from LOTR running down the field.

Wow.... funny you mentioned this. I remember watching the game and being like "holy crap... who's 34?! That dude looked like a stud and was making plays everywhere." After seeing this thread, I decided to look and see who 34 was and, sure enough, it was this guy. Well deserved. He was a monster on Saturday.

But, you know, according to one poster, him being on the team is a "lol" because he never played high school football, but yet made it as a walk on. Its obvious his mommy bought him the spot, amiright?

I had to look up the roster on Sat because he made seemingly every special teams tackle. Dude played like an animal.

Another Central Ohio stud and alot of locals knew his Dad too - great guy. Nate played last year but Akron was definitely a break out game. Hpe it continues for him and Jeff.
