Marty and Brantley say the wind will help balls to right.

Ump makes a wrong strike 3 call on the 7th pitch to BP. Was tailing back, but wasn't enough, except for the arbiter.

Maybe he'll have a better day than that nightmare he had in LF in Wrigley on the last trip.

Gotta feel for Dusty Baker?

No effin way. He doesn't HAVE to use Stubbs out of necessity in the 2 hole....Renteria has been excellent the past games....he chose to start Janish for no reason whatsoever.

He has to because that was the biggest nightmare on defense at any position that I have ever seen.

Lots of offense in the lineup (save Janish) but there is some potential for brutal defense

Stubbs has to be more assertive there.

10 pitches and 10 strikes for Dontrelle in the 1st

This game sets up well for Dontrelle with the low batting average he allows against lefties, and then the righties with their .300+ average he can pitch middle in and let them flail away into the wind! But there is a defensive liability is in LF, but he doesn't hurt the Reds in the first, so Alonso is +1 on runs so far.

He's not afraid of the righties today. He usually throws a very high percentage of balls to them.

5 pitch inning for Garza

Dustyball at it's finest.

Stop hitting to CF!

Dontrelle used two too many pitches to get Soriano. He might get a complete game shutout if the defense would hold, but it looks like he may have a problem with his groin the way he's limping around out there.

Stubbs unaware of how many outs there were. Dusty needs to sit his ass right now.
