Every position is solid, just need no injuries and you are good.

PPR and Hillis lasted till the 6th and Romo till the 8th are very surprising. Only pick I don't really like is the Maclin one. I just don't see him doing much this year. I think Burleson will be your #3 WR is Stafford stay healthy.

Maclin probably won't start much for me. The only pick I wasn't thrilled about was Steven Jackson, but IMO he was the best back available at the time. Hillis and Romo went that late because some people in my league draft players way too early. One person took Matt Ryan in the second round.Iliketurtles;878203 wrote:PPR and Hillis lasted till the 6th and Romo till the 8th are very surprising. Only pick I don't really like is the Maclin one. Is HB in your league(just kidding HB). I'd love to hear the QBs that person passed on. I think Ryan will be good but if QBs stay healthy Ryan is at best the #8 QB. As for Jackson he should still be decent probably around the same numbers he has last year.Raw Dawgin' it;878212 wrote:Maclin probably won't start much for me. She passed on Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. A-Rod and Vick went first round.Iliketurtles;878222 wrote:Is HB in your league(just kidding HB). You should have just said that in the first place completely makes sense now.Raw Dawgin' it;878227 wrote:She passed on Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. A-Rod and Vick went first round.

We have 3 girls in the league. One of them actually knows football, she has ravens season tickets. The other two are helpless sometimes, one of them drafted cedric benson in the 7th, with full knowledge he's going to jail.Iliketurtles;878233 wrote:You should have just said that in the first place completely makes sense now.
Also, it's a PPR and the dude with the 7th pick took Mendenhall and Turner his first two picks...two backs who never catch balls. So I'm hoping to make a deep playoff run this year barring injuries. I got screwed last year when Romo got hurt and Randy went off the deep end.

Miles Austin has been overrated imo since his 200+ yd, 3 td (estimate) game from 2009. He is going to get less passes coming his way with Dez Bryant on the field now. He also is sidelined right now with a pulled hamstring. Those injuries tend to linger with specialty positions.Raw Dawgin' it;878335 wrote:How come?
I feel the same way turtles does when it comes to Maclin. If you don't think you will be starting him that much, you shouldn't have wasted #5 pick on him. Burleson is ok, but Calvin Johnson will be getting the bulk of the TD passes from stafford.
As for wallace, im not impressed with him, but after looking at his stats, he is a solid pickup. I just can't give Steelers players any credit.
I feel like you could have drafted better WRs with your 3-5 picks.

I'll have to find the list of who was off the board, but WR went fast. We'll see how the first couple weeks play out before i know who my every week receivers will be.like_that;878363 wrote:Miles Austin has been overrated imo since his 200+ yd, 3 td (estimate) game from 2009. Similar situation in my draft. I was first pick and all the big scoring receivers were off the board. I have Maclin, Wallace, and Harvin as my starters and my bench is meh. Choosing #1 is overrated.
Maclin put up solid numbers last year, but I'm on the fence about this year with his illness and Jackson may see the ball even more.
I had Wallace last year and he was a stud, but with the preseason emergence of Antonio Brown, he could see less.

First isnt just overrated, it is probably the worst position to have! Unless there is an LT circa 2005 who is just so far and away the #1 player.

Not a bad team at all, I like the balance. I can't criticize the Austin pick because I don't know what WRs were taken after you that round. In a PPR league, Jackson and Rice are golden imo.
BTW, you guys hear Foster tweeted Hamstring MRI? Take it fwiw

Yeah, speculation he is out for 4 weeks.
Peyton out for Colts and Foster out for Texans in week 1? Doesnt quite even it out, but it sure makes it a little bit more fair since it likely could be THE game that decided the AFC South.

Yeah i think they'll be money. I'm going to start hillis week 1 over Jackson because of the match up. Hillis vs Cinncy over Jackson vs Philly.lhslep134;878517 wrote:Not a bad team at all, I like the balance. Do you guys have a flex? I definitely wouldn't sit Jackson in a PPR league because Philly blitzes a lot and Jackson should get at least 5 catches out of the backfield, imo.Raw Dawgin' it;878524 wrote:Yeah i think they'll be money. This! I love to be anywhere from 4-8 in either a 10 or 12 team.Laley23;878449 wrote:First isnt just overrated, it is probably the worst position to have! Unless there is an LT circa 2005 who is just so far and away the #1 player.
Auto I feel very bad for your WRs.
Edit: I actually like the move to sit Jackson and start Hillis. Hillis will also get some catches out of the backfield and will most likely have better overall stats then Jackson.
Laley is Peyton for sure out? I hope not cause my main league with my friends I have Peyton as my QB(our draft was the week before all the crap about him not playing came out) and it is a different style of fantasy football. In short you have to win 5 catagories and 1 is passing. So my QB has to throw for more yards then my opponent to win that catagory lol.

Agreed. I picked 10th out of 12 last year and won. I'd rather have 2 top 15 players than the #1 and #21Laley23;878449 wrote:First isnt just overrated, it is probably the worst position to have! Unless there is an LT circa 2005 who is just so far and away the #1 player.
