So often we talk about how the kids act and represent themselves on the field. Well, remember, the fans matter, too. We are the adults there not for our own ego but to support our kids, our schools, and our communities. After all, the game is for the kids, not for us! We are not just there to support our schools and communities, but to represent them, as well. I hope that tonight and each game this year we take time to make sure we are acting responsibly and in a way that we would want the students in the stands and on the sidelines to model their behavior after us. Every year we go to games and see fans that are outright obnoxious and rude to coaches, referees, opponents'/fellow fans, and even the players themselves. Let's make this year a step in the right direction and appreciate the game for what it is! Good luck to everyone this year!
