With the announcement that HP is discontinuing the Web OS products, retailers are slashing the price of the HP touchpad like crazy...
Amazon.com has them on sale for $99 for the 16GB Wi-Fi tablet and $149 for the 32GB.
Just picked up a 16GB for the hell of it.

LOL. You're right... Hmm, that's strange, but I did get mine for $99
Either way, HP issued a statement to slash the price to $99 by the 20th. Most Canadian stores have already done so, and most US outlets were expected to do so by midnight (online)...
Not sure why Amazon would change the price back though, but if you're honestly interested, just keep trying.

Try hp.com too. SAVE15HP gets another $15 off orders of $75 or more. SAVE30HP saves $30 off $150 or more (if you go for the 32GB)

Yeah, saw that after I bought mine... Oh well.
I'm guessing HP.com will change their prices over at around midnight.
Just looked at Amazon.com again and now the price is listed at $398... No real sure what the hell is going on over there.

Just picked 3 up on ebay for $120. Figured the extra $20 was worth it considering it's literally sold out everywhere else.

My guess is there will be an influx of them on EBay for anywhere between 120-150. People looking to gain a bit of profit.

Ahh, no surpise. These devices were of terrible quality. I shocked they didn't drop to around $79.99.
