Thoughts? This is a fun game between two backyard rivals. West Holmes returns a good running back who now has some varsity experience. Triway lost its big QB-WR combo but looks to fill their shoes. It should be another good game between these two teams! Go Titans!

The '07 game was a great game, Triway fell just short. I remember the crowd being loud and it was a great game to watch, Triway just missed on that one. '09 different story, I still wake up at night and wonder how they let that one slip away.

This year should be another exciting match up. Not sure what to expect from either team. The best news about this game is that it is the begining of the season, that is always a welcome time of the year.

West Holmes is still relatively young, dominated mainly by the Jr. class. Have the competition is good for the whole team trying to find the starters. A few surprises coming out of camp this year, so I look forward to this season.

Knights should win this game, but it all depends on the defense. If the spread finds holes, we be in trouble. Just wish Jr was able to play in this one. He has a little payback to a certain Titan from last year's freshman game. :)

I would not call WH young this season. Most of these juniors started as soph., so they do have a year under their belt. Plus, this junior class has always been billed as loaded. This should be the year WH makes a big jump from it's previous few seasons. Plus, their non-conference foes lost a lot from last season and the OCC as a whole should not be as strong as the past few years. I think the usual teams, Orrville, Ashland and Lex wil again be at the top, but I don't see them as strong as in the past few years. Triway and WH game will come down to who makes the big plays when needed and if WH can stop the spread this season. Triway will put 10 plus the band in the box and make WH throw to win.

4Corners and Triway Titan Pride were upperclassmen in my gym class when I got started on JJ as a Freshman. 4C posted for a while on college football stuff during his time at Ohio State (I think) but never returned to the high school forums. Friends with TTP on Facebook and text him scores every now and then.

No predictions here, but for some reason, Orrville always has a hard time stopping the wing T, so don't get too sleepy. WH will be capable of an upset this season.

West Holmes was picked 6-3 over the Titans in The Daily Record's weekly pick'em. Here's to hoping the masses are underestimating our Triway Titans! I think we will surprise some people. But it all starts tonight with a tough game at West Holmes. Go Titans!
