Does anyone have one and does it work well? Are they really in the $150 range? Thanks.

My XM component in the car can be charged and removed to become a portable component... it works well

do you mean the kind you dock in your car or the kind you take like an iPod? I've only experience the car docking one and it worked perfectly.

Link to a XM Radio with built in MP3 Player

According to XMRadio.com they're $220.

I have the Pioneer Inno, love it! Use it in my house, car, and like a walkman, has a built in antenna!

I have the XMP3 and it's fabulous. I can record up to 50 hours of music, plus it accepts microSD cards and can play mp3 files from there as well - up to 8GB.

I have a MyFi, but it stinks portable. The built-inantenna isn't that good. There are headphones with antenna, that are much better to use, I've heard.

I don't have any experience with the devices but from what I've heard they aren't that great.

I used to have a MyFi and they definitely aren't portable. I think the Innos may be a little better, but unless you are walking around the middle of NYC you probably won't get reception.

I still love it because you can record a program and walk around with it so it is portable in that sense.

I get reception just fine on my INNO everywhere here! Now it doesn't get reception inside, you have to run an external antenna for that, but outside it is great. I love to lay by the pool in the summer and listed to tribe games and Fox Sports Radio!

I had the Delphi MyFi before the XMP3. It wasn't a bad unit. Could only record 10 hours and the antenna was indeed a problem, but it worked out ok for me until I took it on a cruise and plugged into the wrong outlet! Anyway, if you're looking for a portable, the XMP3 or the Inno are indeed very good units. They're not cheap though. I recall my XMP3 being about $250 when I bought. Maybe it's gone down in price since then.

Fab: Of course you get great reception. Your whole east side is wide open! Plus, there are no tall trees in Florida. Everyone knows that.
