It's not broken, all of the old betting threads appear to have lost their info in the thread. You can continue to create new betting threads, though.

I get the same message when I try to view old events. Like Justin said, the ones created from here on out should be ok. I'll try to remake some of the longer term events (World Series, MVP or whatever else I had) but might not get to it until this weekend.
