wrote:Brent Loveland of Choctaw says he arrived early in the morning on March 21 wearing a gray "Oklahoma Baseball" T-shirt with the university's name in red block letters.
He and two others began to unload their equipment.
According to the lawsuit, Gundy arrived at the house at 9:30 a.m. and spotted Loveland's shirt. "How dare you come into my house and offend my wife," Gundy allegedly said.
Gundy then allegedly used profanity as he told the contractor to get off his property.
Gundy called Loveland a "stupid idiot" for wearing the shirt on "OSU soil," and refused Loveland's apologies, the lawsuit says. The contractor offered to turn his shirt inside-out, but was refused, according to the suit

Good, that guy knew what he was doing and Gundy didn't think it was very funny. He didn't know it was an Oklahoma shirt because it was dark when he put it on??? GTFO

Gundy went on to tell the contractor, "Fuck you! I'm a man, I'm 40!"

While it does seem overblown, I still find it hilarious.

Lawsuit? Really? Based on what? A homeowner can hire/fire a contractor for any reason they want.

I'd never hire a Meechigan contractor. Hell, I've chased them off my porch delivering pizzas to me before.

My guess is there's language in the contract that is the basis of his lawsuit. Doesn't mean he'll win it (the contractor)

Yeah. I mean, I find the situation hilarious, but Mike Gundy is a complete tool.
I mean, I'd never fire Carlos Zambrano from mowing my lawn just because he pitches for the Cubs. He does a very good job.

You are so racist. Just because he is Latino doesn't mean he is good at yardwork.

Well, yeah. Because if you did, he'd flip out, break a few windows and then scream "I QUIT" before storming off.

Yeah, but he'd quickly change his mind once he realized he'd be leaving that $12 bucks on the table.Heretic;863151 wrote:Well, yeah. Because if you did, he'd flip out, break a few windows and then scream "I QUIT" before storming off.

True, he could be good at hanging drywall.

Did the carpenter know the perspective customer was Mike Gundy?
If so, what's lost in this whole thing is how dumb it was to wear a shirt with Oklahoma represented on it.
