I see one Ohio angler listed, Vic Vatalaro from Kent. Good luck to my friends Jake and Matt.
Day 1 live weigh in at 6pm EST.

there's a $100,000 bonus. $600,000 for 4 days bass fishing. Nice.

Do you get to eat the fish when the tournament is over?

No, the fish stay alive and get released. But you have $500,000 to buy a nice seafood dinner.

What if one of the fish dies, can you eat it or do you have to throw it back in the water for the other fish to eat?

How much does it cost to enter a tournament that size?

Looks like you have to work your way up through the minor leagues.
A co-angler from Marion, Ohio just took the lead for $50,000 at the end of tomorrow. He only caught 1 yesterday and will probably drop to 5th by today's end. He's still in it to win it.
My friend got skunked yesterday, his mind is on starting law school Monday.
Vatalaro has missed the cut too.

I was just joking around earlier with my comments. I think it would be nice to compete in something like this, we used to watch the tournaments years back and it was amazing how many people show up for weigh in. I think it was 1999 when they had something like 30,000 - 40,000 fans show up for the final weigh in at the superdome.
