I've said it before...say it again. I would not have traded White for Jiminez straight up. Tonight did not do anything to change my opinion. Jiminez has been hit hard...fortunately...right at people. He was 6 and 9 for a reason.

And people keep talking about Alex White, yet he's no where to be found and hasn't been since, what, early June?

I remember another UNC pitcher that had "can't miss stuff" Andrew Miller... That didn't work out too well for Detroit either... Well, it did, because he was part of the trade that brought them Miggy.

He won 19 games last year, but I guess we can just discredit that.

He was 6-4 with a 3.10 ERA since June 1st, but you can keep playing the numbers to make your argument sound better.

Kipnis handed 3 bullets...Cabrera making an incredible leaping catch...need I go on? He looks more like Fausto than a so called stud. You've forgotten how much you raved on White early in the season, haven't you?...and now a bomb by Napoli.

4 runs in 5 innings isn't much to brag about...against any major league team.

I liked Alex White, followed him at UNC...

However, I'm not blind to better talent. Jiminez is better in every way.

I'm done arguing with you though, we'll never agree on this issue.

IMO, Jiminez never should have came out in the 6th at 98 pitches.

He was dealing though, so I can see why Acta left him in.

Now it's up to the bullpen.

Sweet. He dropped it 27 points since the trade. How did Alex White do for the rockies tonight?

Pronk should be pinch hitting for Kearns. Brantley can play the field.

Agree. I don't blame him for trying to manufacture runs with this offense, but you have to draw the line somewhere. And that line is way before Austin Kearns.
