Are you kidding me? Asdrubal is terrible at leading off. He's been picked off more than once this season.

Dude just had a terrible error to basically create that entire inning for Texas, then he gets picked off?

Just terrible. This team is done this year. Too many mental errors. A young team choking under the pressure of contention.

Tribe has a payroll of 65 million after obtaining Ubaldo...who makes 2.8 million. In contrast, the Tigers.....with that booming economy in Detroit, has a payroll of 100 million. Inspite of what the great guru Jordo says, the team that spends the most....wins.

My argument against obtaining Ubaldo.....there is no way this team wins a title this year. Tribe needs at least one outfielder, a third baseman, and a first basemen (or catcher if LaPorta gets rightfully dumped).

But look at the bright side....the tribe will lose their 4th game of this road trip by one run....but the first without it being walk off.

Speaking of which, I was thinking today that a guy I'd really like the Tribe to go after is Michael Morse. Can play 1st or outfield, and he's put up good numbers the last 2 seasons (actually, he's put up solid numbers pretty much any time he's played, but didn't play much between 2005 and last season for some reason).

Unless he got extended, he's only on a 1 year deal with Washington. Batting .320/19/64.

The Tribe offense, SHOULD improve next year just by guys like Kipnis, Zeke, Brantley and Chiz getting another year under their belts... Santana is going to be a great offensive player, and he should be moved to first base. Choo needs to come back focused and become the Choo of old.

LaPorta needs dumped, point blank. If we can trade him and get good value, you do it. I let Grady go as well...

The pitching, IMO, is set up. That's one less thing you have to worry about. This offseason focus the resources on offense.

A little flame going on in the 9th. Game tied....and I guess no one knows what Rep Power is!

Footwedge: go vote on my trade poll. I know you have a tendency to not read back very far! ;-)

I've seen bringing the infield in work about 5 times in my life.

That ball Chisenhall hit would have been a 1 hopper or line drive right to the 2nd base....runner would've had to hesitate to see if caught and I bet even if runner doesn't hesitate that he gets thrown out at home.

Chiz almost fucked himself by looking back... As a baserunner with 2 outs, you just put your head down and go!

Oh well, we have the lead.. Hopefully we can keep it this time.
