Ha very nice scene. I always thought she was hot while watching the show and didn't even realize it was her until he got on the plane and said hey to her.

I was hoping the theater I go to most would get this but they didn't. Do you think it's worth driving 35 to 40 minutes to see?
Scarlet_Buckeye;1311205 wrote:Saw "Flight" last night too. I'd agree with everything you said... It was good, but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. It was a little different than I was expecting. I think the whole 'airliner doing a barrel roll and flying inverted' really grabs everyone's attention and they think they're going to see more stuff like that but they don't.

Denzel was great, as usual. John Goodman stole the show (guy can just act). The girl was pretty cute (in a weird way). Didn't like how once she left, she was really never to be seen again.

Oh! And who was the cancer patient? His acting was REALLY good.
I'd rate it about a 70%. Don Cheadle was pretty good too.
I was hoping Goodman would have a bigger role. The girl looked familiar but after looking up who she was I've never watched anything she has been in. [SP] I thought that was who was visiting Denzel at the end. I didn't really care for how they showed that they had made up through the pics in his jail cell but it's not a huge deal.
[/SP]

The cancer patient was James Badge Dale. He's been in a few things so far but nothing major where he has been the lead. I had to look it up. Ha

I drove 25 minutes to see it, and am not complaining one bit.

New Chucky movie confirmed for a Halloween 2013 release. Will be called "Curse of Chucky" and will ignore the events of "Bride of Chucky" and "Seed of Chucky".

Me too dude. It's weird though.. The Wikipedia page for Child's Play says this movie will pick up where Child's Play 3 left off, and the series will be re-booted in 2014. Two Chucky movies in two years? Why even bother with Curse of Chucky if you're just going to re-boot the next year?

Because hollywood sucks. No creativity and they just reboot everything.

Yep. Instead of coming up with new ideas, they've rebooted Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and now Child's Play. And I've heard about an Evil Dead reboot. And there's the very different remake of Dawn of the Dead (don't think I can call it a reboot, since they were very different other than having zombie-types and located in a mall). And a lot of other remakes like Last House on the Left, to add to the barrage of unoriginal films.

When I hear of a reboot of Leprechaun, I'm cashing out...

While I only see a box with a "?" in Hobbit's post and the video in Mantooth's was removed by user...I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that they represent proof that it IS time to An Hero for me.

It was a good life...I guess...

Mine was a pic of Jennifer Anniston from Leprechaun.

Saw Wreck-It Ralph tonight. Very much enjoyed it.

As for World War Z....I'll watch it but I'm going to pretend it has nothing to do with the book and is instead simply a new zombie type film with Brad Pitt.

Just watched the Spiderman reboot on Apple TV....wow. It wasn't terrible by any means but on the other hand nothing good to add to the franchise. It wasn't as awful as Spiderman 3, but didn't deliver anything new or exciting. Boo. A 2 out of 4, with the option to knock it down another half-star for Garfield's ridiculous hair.

I thought it was ok, but it isn't a reboot apparently. I guess it is a completely different comic...my kid lectured me on that point.

Saw Wreck It Ralph Friday. I also enjoyed it.

Saw Argo this morning. I thought it was fantastic. Needed more Goodman/Cranston. However, the one big scene Cranston had was awesome.

Skyfall was very good. Says it was 2 1/2 hours, but didn't feel like it.

Really enjoyed it, Rza is a terrible actor, but thankfully didn't get in the way. Solid action film, but nothing worth writing home about.
