Starting last night, teennick began playing 90's Nickelodeon classic shows. 12am - 2am

Clarissa, All That, Kenan and Kel, and Doug.

It was the most talked about subject on twitter last night and the facebook page has like 200,000 'likes' already.

Upcoming shows in the rotation will be:

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
The Adventures of Pete & Pete
The Amanda Show
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
CatDog+
Family Double Dare
GUTS
Hey Arnold!
Hey Dude
Legends of the Hidden Temple
The Ren & Stimpy Show+
Rocket Power
Rocko's Modern Life+
Rugrats+
Salute Your Shorts
The Secret World of Alex Mack
Weinerville

My guess: This becomes so popular that 90's nickelodeon gets it's own channel, or just completely takes over teennick.

I don't have teennick, but will be watching online.

You're welcome.

I think we had a thread on this when it first was announced early in the spring or late winter. But yes, I watched all 4 shows.

I think it will eventually get more play on TeenNick, but I doubt it gets its own channel. This all started when the FB group was formed and Nickelodeon saw how many people were interested.

There are some great shows on the list but I don't really get the whole uproar/obsession. I am asleep by 11:30 at the latest so unless I record them I can't watch them anyways.

I agree on the timeslot, but I'm pretty sure it will be moved forward if it's proven that there is enough demand....

If this was on from 8-10, it beats out pretty much every summer show on TV in my book.

McFly....Link to the other shows being in the rotation?

MTV2 is airing In Living Color while this is on. Last night was amazing with 90's Nick and ILC on.

Never understood how people liked Catdog, I fucking hated it. But different strokes for different folks I guess.

I'm 'friends' with Donkeylips on facebook -- he posted that salute your shorts will be on next month...I believe he owns some of the rights to the show or something...

so yeah, they showed the pilot episodes of Doug, All That, Keenan and Kel, and Clarissa Explains It All last night. I tuned in for all but the latter. All That is lame, but I kinda thought that when I was younger anyway.

I'm usually up during this timeslot so it works for me. The wife and I watched it last night. Can't wait for Salute Your Shorts and Pete and Pete.

Awesome thanks. I started to read the Q&A with Dawkins but every damn answer had Facebook and Twitter in it. We get it. Still holding out hopes of Roundhouse, 15 and Welcome Freshmen!

What about "You Cant Do That On Television"? Was that late 80's more than early 90's?

Not that I will ever watch them, cause I'm typically not up that late, but, Hey Dude, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Salute Your Shorts are favorites!! What about Wild and Crazy Kids??

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these shows or the entire programming block becomes part, if not all of, Nick At Night. I would think that these shows would do better than Everybody Hates Chris and The Nanny.
