AURORA, Ohio -- A 24-year-old former substitute teacher for Aurora schools is charged with two counts of sexual battery.

Mary Schnell, of Aurora, is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy who was one of her students.

"This sexual conduct took place in Mantua Township," Lt. Gregory Johnson said.


Schnell was arraigned Monday in Portage County Common Pleas Court and released on a $50,000 bond.
