Anyone read Soccernomics? Had an interesting break-down of the Man Utd/Chelsea PK shootout in 2008 from a game theory perspective.

Chelsea specifically had a company that analyzed both Van der Sar's save preference and Man Utd's kick preferences, and they had a good gameplan until Terry slipped and Anelka simply didn't listen. I wonder how much that will play into these penalties.

If I stepped up to take a PK in the CL Final, and Manuel Neuer was in goal. Id shit myself and just walk off the field.
