I will never slight an athlete for missing time with this injury ever again.
Holy cow, I have barely been able to walk for two days. Orthopedist says it could take 3-4 weeks before pain subsides.

anyone else ever had it?
Been icing and keeping it elevated, any more suggestions for treatment?

I had it. It sucked. The doctor said it is worse than breaking your toe, and he wasn't kidding. When it starts to heal, be sure to start stretching your toe out otherwise you will lose all flexibility in that toe, and set yourself up for another injury.

Also I am with you. I used to just smh when I saw pro football players sidelined for 2 weeks because of turf toe. I immediately ate my crow after I had my turf toe. It is incredible how some of those guys go out there and play with their toe only being around 50%.
