Anyone play in the 150$ 10K guaranteed on sundays? Just seeing if anyone has any type of numbers for the turn out or information to see if it's a legit tourney.

Durkie, were you still around when the fisticuffs went down? I didn't play in the tourney, but I was there playing cash games today. Couldn't get a face card to save my life.

Does Hollywood still have 5 dollar 3 and 4 card poker during the week, or have they gone exclusive 10 dollar?

My wife and I are thinking of going there and staying for her birthday, but we both like to play 3 and 4 card poker on the tables, and its not worth our trip if its 10 dollar tables all the time.

Anyone know this answer?

They have 2 machines that have 5 dollar 3 card..sometimes its even 3 dollar minimum. As for tables I'm not too sure, I really don't check out the mins on those games, but if I had to guess I'd say they don't have 5 min.

But is it really enough to determine whether or not you go? Were talking a difference of five dollars not 20 or something.

30th, was in the top 5 chips for most of the tourney. Called a guys all in which was for half my chips and would've made me chip leader. Knew he held AQ, AK and called with 99. He caught an A on the turn sadly.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. The dealer was talking about pressing charges for assault over water being thrown at him.

Apparently you aren't married...

This is my wife who gives a crap, not ME. I honestly play more than the 5 dollar minimum every hand. But to her it is a big deal. It IS one of her birthday presents from me, and I honestly don't want to hear her complain the whole time we are there.

I've only been married about a year and 1/2, I haven't learned to completely block out her frequency yet.

Horseshoe Cleveland is expected to be open "early 2012". That is of course, if more politics don't get in the way.

Was at Hollywood last night for a Bachelor party. Lost $40 on the .25 slots. One of my buddies was hammered and bought an $800 bottle of Cristal at Boogie Nights. He spent a grand last night, and didn't gamble at all...lol.

That's crazy. When we lived in biloxi, we went to the casinos a lot. 40 was the most I ever spent. I just can't keep throwing money away. I did win 480 one day after only playing less then 5 minutes. Went and found the wife and said we are out of here!!

My 25th year Class Reunion will be there in October, I hope I don't pull a stunt like that. Besides I'm a Dom Pérignon person.

I think the Dom was about $500. Our total bill for the table was $1600+, it did get us some free rooms when we want to go back though.

To be fair to the wife though, 5 dollar versus 10 dollar is actually like 50 bucks if you play 10 hands. Typically you will be about even at that point, but if you go 0/7 or something to start out, your not out 35, your out 70.
