It was a dumb decision on his part....but I still think that Hines is a good person overall. You know, the same thing that some on here say when talking about Jim Tressel and how "the good that he's done far outweighs the bad."

I dont think it was race as an issue I just am saying it might be a 5% chance . However I think after he "Heins" posted on facebook the day before that he is trying to quit texting while driving and said it was unsafe,it could be related to his quotes on FB . People including cops like to get people of his status . It is not uncomprhensible for this cop or the cops in that area to be hunting for him . They call the plate in and its Hiens ..Hell yea that could happen . Maybe a 15% chance that was the case .. Just saying . He has not been convicted and you people are calling this guy all kinds of names and are harshley judging him .. This guys reputaion as a citizen is better than 99% of the people on here . All you people live in glass houses!

Hold up here . Its you people who have already tried and convicted both Hiens of DUI and Ben of Rape .. Cops do there jobs ,but I was mearly pointing out a hypothetical possibility . I dont think it was the case . I think its probably 55 % chance that this was all on the up and up . I do think cops certainly might target a big name . Absolutly a possibility ... Cops do lie its a fact . Just like criminals do and just like lawyers from both sides do . I dont think this was a state trooper looking for Dui's either, this was a city cop . He probably was doning his job to the letter . He may not have been though and you guys have already convicted this man .... Go after an asshole not Heins Every team has dui offenders on them . BTW 90% of regular cops drink and drive . Ill tell you that just saying . Not state cops but your everyday cops yep

Ill tell you all this . I dont care if I make 100 enemies on here defending Hiens.. thats my dude . If he made a mistake so be it . He will be punished accordingly . That does not diminish the kind of leader he is in my opinion ,although I respect others that differ with my assesment.
Id guess 80% of the men on here have drank and drove before atleast once ,so I dont think its fair to judge him . If you never ever have then you have the right to speak out . But if you have ever been impaired behind the wheel ,you dont have a right to judge . and that doesnt mean getting caught either . If Heins was a slimeball like Ben then I wouldnt even bother to address this circus .,but not this guy.

Im not going to let them crush Hiens without me fighting back . I am a true Steeler fan Pirate fan Penguin fan . I love Pittsburgh. I didnt defend Ben because he is a totle jerk . Heins is not . He has not been found guilty yet . my emotions may have gotten away from me ,but so be it . Go to a Steeler Browns game or a Steeler Bengals game and see how wound up we really get.

Ive never said anything about Ward or Ben.

Im just pointing out the fallacy of your post. Saying he should be let go because he is a good person.

He drank, he drove, he drove reckless. Neither of us was there. Neither of us witnessed what really happened.

I'm a huge Ward fan too, but admit it...he fucked up. Take the teasing from the Browns and Bengals fans and move on. They're all NFL players--you know sooner or later one of their players is going to fuck up too.

BTW--I've never taken the wheel after drinking. Ever.
