There are enough people on here and with incredible IQ's and test scores...so I'll give it a shot.

Grandma's rental has a pretty significant number of bats in the attic area of the house. Many also have made their way through the chimney to the basement. Bat droppings everywhere but mostly in one large spot......it was sealed off where they thought they were coming in and now there are 2 dead bats on the basement floor. Many can be seen as the sun is going down coming out under the area where the different levels of roof meet.

Advice? Who to call? $$$?

and yes.....Ace Ventura already told me he was busy.

Whoever sealed of where they were coming in from was stupid. They will find another way out.

That said I don't want a lot of dead bats in my attick either.

The real fix is to see where they are coming in and out. After dark you need to watch them all leave. Then you seal up where they were coming in and out. It is much easier for them to find somebody elses house or an olt tree to live in. And bats are all about easy.

they like titties as well.

Yeah....he's pretty gay. I thought about capping the chimney or doing it better and just what DA said...find it and plug it up.....some will still be in there and die and stink some for a couple of days.....but everyone I've called is not accepting! Closest place is a company out of Columbus which will charge $65 for having to drive so far to even give an estimate.

Varmit Guard did my neighbor's house, but I have no idea how much it cost them. They sealed where they were going in and out and any other places that looked like they could get into. They haven't had any since then. Problem is, they've just seemed to move on to the neighbor's. :(

I'd like to have bats at my place to get rid of the mosquitos. Should I get some bat houses and put some guano in there?

I'd fill it full of insects and mosquitos if you want bats to go there. There are great for mosquitos....but this is a bit out of hand.
