THE NCAA is going to hand out some additional punishment to Ohio State, because of the lying that allowed the ineligible players to play in the Sugar Bowl.

Maybe the NCAA should investigate before they rule them eligible then. Just like with scam newton. If they can't ever take the NC championship from them because they ruled him eligible, they shouldn't be able to further punish osu for the same reason.

You only win in your own mind. Losing to OSU has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. Yet YOU try to make it so, again. I also did not say they would get more or less sanctions.

OSU winning has everything to do with your hatred of the premier program in the country. The only headlines Michigan ever gets anymore relate to OSU:

"OSU beats Michigan again"
"OSU in trouble, could Michigan lose by only 2 TD's this year?"

You're praying every night that OSU isn't allowed to have a football program, because we all know Michigan isn't going to beat OSU for the next 20-30 years.

seems like speed and TY wer both awfully hateful this week towards OSU. spewed a lot of venom. could be that 10% of their scholarship players have left. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it.

most of the time i don't mind their shit because it's more like good ribbing, but this week the tone has been different.

Ya, you got me. My hatred for OSU is why they are in trouble, and Michigan doesn't stand a chance for 30 years. Now I see why you are so respected around here. Good job buddy.

It seems that alot of people want OSU to be punished based on all the unfounded allegations that the media threw out there during the whole thing.

I had a job that used to allow me to listen to NCAA meetings ( I listened to the Dez Bryant appeal hearing and a couple other more minor ones in other sports). I have learned a few things from these meetings. The people on the boards basically dont care what OSU says or a consultant says. They only care about what they find in their investigation. I will also tell you their boards are made up of people with large egos. They also make their deciesons in like 3 minutes then argue over the legal wordings in the actual press release for like two hours. The thing that will hurt OSU the most is Tressel lieing. Just because OSU fired him does not mean they are cleared of his mistakes. His actions will be what ultimatly will cost osu some schollys and most likly a bowl ban. I would put money on a punishment very similar to what USC recieved.

I base this info on listening to the Dez case. Another was a soccer player who tested postive for Steroids and was claiming it was a false postive and a baseball player who tested postive at a junior college who was denied eligibilty while trying to transfer to a d1 school because of the past test.

Also look into the WVU case and see if you think the punishments both fit.

Your hatred for OSU blinds you. OSU is the premier program in the country, both on and off the field, Michigan is a footnote in the success of The Ohio State University.

How does that feel? Your favorite team is a damn footnote.

gimme a freakin break. I'm trying to balance out the blind Buckeye whiners who spew 10x the hate toward the SEC and especially Florida when directed at me. OSU was still my 2nd favorite team until I started reading the jackass fans remarks on this board. sleeper, writer, vball, derkie, cbf, and a few other trolls vs. me is the way I see it. So I started posting more trash and will continue on threads like these where Bucks fans QQ like little girls and try to justify themselves.

I don't remember the exact school but it was a small school if I remember correctly. I just had to listen to the meetings and that one wasnt very interesting. I just remember the NCAA basically said you tested postive on the a and b samples and the player basically saying no way. That was literally the players excuse. The coach and player were part of the meeting. The Dez Bryant meeting wasnt actally my assignment but i got to listen in to it by choice and it was very interesting. I'm not allowed to comment on details but i will say the Dez Bryant defense was funny, sad, and possibly completely true. My company was not the normal company who did the NCAA meeting but recieved them in overflow from another company. The job i had was awesome as I got to be part of many different press conferences including ones with Skip Bayless, Mel Kiper, Jack Black, and the dude from quatem leap who is now on men of a certain age.

Maybe just a slight hint of realistic perspective? Its there from other posters, but many here are stupid blind followers... I'm objective and unbiased. Except with FSU, who got away with more cheating than USC, OSU, and the SEC all put together since 1990.

Pick 6 with the vocabulary of Automatik. Why are you throwing my name out there when I havent even posted in this thread? Am I enjoying all of this, sure. Do I hope more gets added to them? You bet i do. I compare the OSU 2010 season to the 2008 Washington Huskies season. But at least Washington didnt have to commit a ton of infractions to have zero wins. :)

Start cooking the crow...its not long before people like Sleeper will have to eat.

I vaguely remember being told that nothing else will happen..."bank it"...I went to the bank after the announcement and they said that there had apparently been some interest growing on the earlier punishments. OSU would NOT have done this unless they were pretty positive that they are getting more. Expect scholarships cut and a 1 year post season ban (no way more than one year though).

Oh...and OSU the premier program in the country? I thought the premier team won national titles. So...Auburn, Alabama, Florida...I could see teams like that being named...but NOT OSU (or any other big 10 team for that matter).

Jackass fans? LMAO...pot meet kettle. Your nothing but a fucking troll moron. There are few non OSU classy fans on this OHIO BASED forum! To this day, i have NO clue why fans from Fla, LSU other non area fans come onto this forum. Oh wait..yes I do...TO stir the pot and troll!! I have yet to step foot into another state or other team forum. There is NO reason to. Except to be an ass like you. And I highly doubt you will find many OSU fans trolling the other sites. Very few!! And you act like Florida is all innocent. Shit, they have a team that could rival the London Correctional institute in terms of the number of times they have run into the law!! Shit, one of your own just admitted he and others at Fla did the samething OSU players did. They just didn't get caught. That is the only difference. So just STFU and move on.
