I'll take my Hoya's in a close one. 67-63.

G'Town up 49-35 early in 2nd half. The Hoyas size is beginning to be to much for the Bulldogs.

Greg Monroe was dominant for the Hoyas...24 points and 14 rebounds with less than a minute left.
Hoyas should hang on to win but they haven't really closed Butler out very well.

No they didn't close out Butler well tonight. I'll take the win though.

Does anyone else think Bob Knight could care less if John Saunders just disappeared? Random thought.
And I am so tired of the Larry Bird comparisons to every solid tall white guy who shows signs of being able to shoot and pass (e.g. Hayward).
Come on, Dick.
Although, I do happen to see traces in Kyle Singler
.... j/k
I am, however, beginning to rethink Butler as a Final Four pick. I think the Bulldogs are just struggling to put it all together here early, and that's they'll be just fine. But a Final Four team they are not. I just don't see the power present there that's needed to make such a run.

Yep, a win is a win. The Hoyas have a solid basketball team.Huskers wrote: No they didn't close out Butler well tonight. I'll take the win though.
rec,
I know I wish John Saunders would disappear. I'd like to see Knight speak his mind to him.

It'd be nice to see Butler drop out of the top 25. Their out-of-conference play has been anything but stellar, at 6-3. We'll see how they do against OSU and Xavier, but with three losses already before entering Horizon League play, they don't belong with the big boys this year.
