For those that were not aware, the Groveport Madison Wrestling Community is hosting this months edition of Central Ohio Open Mats. These sessions will be held EVERY Wednesday night in July, from 6:30 to 8pm, at Middle School NORTH, 5474 Sedalia Ave., Columbus, OH... Which is the same place as our Tuesday night sessions (which have been put on hold for this month).

Last night was our first go and I liked what I saw. 40+ kids from quite a few areas of Central OH. I still think there are more out there - any where from 20 to 30 kids - that can make this event. Come out and see who is trying to make strides! Come get better yourself.

For a couple of videos, go to my YouTube channel... TheMightyCruiser ... Only two from last night, but there will be more.

Cruiser...It was a really good room at Kilbourne last night and I mentioned Groveport to every person there. I did the same thing at Ready last Sunday. Hopefully local wrestlers take advantage of the opportunity. I'll see you at 6:00 (coming in early to drill with Upset).

No worries. I'm actually trying to carve out some time to get up to the OSU camp. Hopefully I'll see him there.

Bitter: awesome stuff. I've been doing my best to promote. Hopefully we'll top 45, dare I say 50!?!?! Hmmmmmm!?!?!?!?!?!?! See you then.

Cruiser...Any hint on who the "speciacl guest" might be? Also, are we on for a meal and some robust wrestling talk with Playground Legend afterwards? I talked to Nicola last night and said he's down.

Correct! John Smith IS the man. Can't get enough of him on flo. But, you are correct... Westie would benefit. Oh, to be 4" taller and another 45 pounds heavier... *sigh* :D

We ended with 40, I think. Excellent room last night.

Dan Marino > Brett Favre
Jerry Rice > Randy Moss
America is not a democracy; it is a representative republic.
The chicken came first.
Adam and Eve did NOT have a belly button upon creation.
Anthony Robles turned a seemingly disadvantage into his own advantage. And for that, we saluted.
Barry Sanders and Walter Payton were VERY good.
The Spy-Dogg thinks Rosanne was the hottest sitcom mom. I still stand with Felicia Rashad. Judith Light, however, was in the running.
Gayle Sayers was quite possibly the greatest kick returner of all time.
We all agreed that the women's US soccer team was a great story and run. Only to be trumped by the greater story and greater run of Japan. Congrats to both groups.
Iowa had the last 118 pound NCAA champion.

Yeah, but we have recently folded that constitution in order to make it two-ply, if you know what I mean! ;) :D ;)

Coach,
We'll be back up in a couple of weeks, Joe needs to recover from Jordan's State Champ camp. That place was intense!

Actually, tree might be one Tuesday we have to take off so the custodial crew can strip, mop and wax the floors. But I'll let you know when I know.

Also, if someone could announce this to the Bishop Ready open mat crew, I'd greatly appreciate it.
