When I was in school, July 5th (or first weekday after 4th of July) was always the first day of team conditioning. That meant football was getting started. Is it still the same or have schools gone so far to year round stuff that the only off days are mandated days by the state.

Been weight lifting every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday since school ended. Actually our strength program is all year. We had two "camp" days, which involved an 8 hour day split into 3 practices. Also went to a Wing-T camp.

Our kids get the month of December off then start off season lifting and conditioning. 7 on 7 starts for us next week, and we will be attending the Bucyrus 7 on 7 and linemen challenge next Saturday.
