Well, if you like our justice system, this is the correct decision...so well done to those jurors. They didnt let anything get in the way of the ACTUAL evidence given to them. With what was presented, no way you can charge her with murder or manslaughter, imo.

You can bitch all you want about the system we have in place, but with the way its currently set up, this was the right choice, imo.

Another jury trying to make a name for themselves by shocking the world, much like the OJ jury. They will make much more money off of a "not guilty" verdict, than they would've a "guilty" verdict.

The sad part is, if they ever do find the evidence....they can't retry her for those charges that she was cleared of.

Even if she didn't intentionally kill the kid, something went on, and it is sad that she walks away scott free without even so much as some sort of child abuse/neglect punishment.

I think it's quite possible that the prosecution failed to remove reasonable doubt from the jury's mind. I didn't watch the trial so I'm not sure. Maybe if they did a better job at removing that reasonable doubt it would have been a different outcome.

It was probably the incorrect verdict, but the prosecution was asking for the jury to connect too many dots to convict.

No, but it isnt the justice systems fault lol. Prosecution butchered this case. They didnt find shit other than circumstantial evidence, which is a fucking joke. If thats all you got, you really got nothing. Easy decision, imo...though Im still shocked by it.
