Thinking about getting some Goodyear Assurance Comfortred Touring tires for the car. Had Some OEM Bridgestone Turenza's that lasted about 75K on the car. OK tire, but no one on tire rack seemed to like them. Anyone brand loyal for Tire's? Just curious as to what everyone rides on.

We have Yoko's on the wife's car and Bridgestone Dueler A/T's on my truck. I have no tire allegience. I typically just buy whatever tire fits my price range and needs best and has a good review.

I had some Firestone Firehawks on a car at one time that I did not like. Other than that I rarely notice a difference in performance other than mileage.

I prefer toyo and yokohama tires. Have also heard good things about Falken and Kumo tires.

I just buy whatever is the cheapest now because 17" tires are expensive, and I've had some problems with flats, not holding air, and such. Back when I had my Cavalier though, I got a deal on Michelin's. They lasted forever (still on the car to this day I believe), never had any problems with them, and they came with an 85,000 mile warranty.

GoodYear. my dad always did, and I have for all my cars. They just seem like a good durable tire.

I think the tires I put on my truck last year are BFGoodrich, but I can't remember. I've had no issues with them and got a decent deal on them at costco. Truck tires aren't cheap.

I read that to mean he had expensive tires and then he had problems so now he just buys the cheapest.

Go to tirerack.com and read the customer reviews. Those are the only reviews I'd trust, tho even those can be manipulated.

Yeah, but only one of those is essential.

Because you can always bum a ride to get to work.

You have 17's? I have 18's on my truck and I wanted to upgrade to 33" tires. I found some sweet Nitto's I liked.... but they were $1600 for all 4 tires.

Different brands are better for different types of cars. I have Continental extreme contact DWS on my TSX...amazing tires. If you have a SUV , I would say Continental is lacking in a competitive tire for that market...

Reviews I've read say the Hankook Optimo H727 is the best all-season/value tire.

I think they are 17 but I can't remember. I ended up paying right around $600 for the 4.
