I said it in an earlier thread. With time, Bruce could be a legit QB if given time.

GOOOOOOOOO RRRRRRRRROCETS!!!! I am a new fan to the Raider Nation since my man Bruce is now at the helm. I told everyone that he was the real deal when he was with the Browns for about a cup of coffee, but nobody would listen. If you give him time and some guys that can catch, he can pick a D to pieces. Watched it first hand for a couple of years in Toledo. He passed for 6000 yards and 56 touches in two years there. Glad to see him back to his old tricks.

The crazy thing is that Bruce's best weapon right now is either rookie Louis Murphy or TE Zach Miller. The Raiders start 3 rookies at WR....Murphy, Schillens, and Heyworthless-Bey.
I'm not saying he's an amazing QB, but I wonder how much better he would do with some of the other WR corps out there because Oakland easily has the worst and most inexperienced WR group in the league.

I wonder what Oakland is going to do with JaMarcus? The Raiders could trade him, but who would want him? Maybe, they will just cut him. He's another guy who the Notre Dame defense made look a lot better than he really is, and the Raiders fell for it. I would say he is one of the biggest busts in NFL history, but I didn't think he would do much in the league. He is exactly what I thought he would be.

Jamarcus will almost definitely be cut in the offseason. No Salary Cap, means no cap penalties, so he's as good as gone. I have a feeling you'll see a lot of high price players released this offseason. Both players on their rookie contracts, and guys who've been around a while, but are making big bucks.
Rusell may as well start packing.

Actually Schillens is a second year guy.He had an injury in pre season and he was out for awhile.Up to that point he was looking great.Murphy has had some drops but he's a gamer. He plays hard all the time.Heyward bay is struggling but I think with a little more time he could be a good one too.charliehustle14 wrote: The crazy thing is that Bruce's best weapon right now is either rookie Louis Murphy or TE Zach Miller. Unfortunate blow for Bruce, but he's a fighter. So he'll be back next season better than ever and really make a name for himself, in my opinion.

Looks like Oakland is ready to cut ties with JaMarcus for good. They brought in JP Lossman to come in and be a backup. The Raiders cannot get rid of Russell fast enough. Good riddance.

I like Gradkowski and Losman heading into next season. I know I'm biased but with Troy Smith being a free agent after this year, I'd sure like to see him in the black and silver. That'd be one hell of a QB competition and would give Oakland some good depth at QB, which they've lacked for a long time.

If they are going to get rid of anyone they need to start with Al Davis.

I have been a Raider fan since Marcus Allen cut back on Washington in the Superbowl in like 83 or something. First game I ever watched! Staying with em forever.

Not awesome numbers so far, but Charlie Frye is still getting it done against the Broncos for now.
