Think Frank Costello from The Departed, as his character was based off of Bulger. Doesn't matter how old he is, its good that he was caught.

Uhhh, yeah. You think just because he's 81 and the 21 or however many murders were in his past there is no need to arrest him?

I didn't say there is no need to arrest him..I just am not sitting here going, "thank god, we are now safer with this guy off the streets!"

If they would have caught this guy in his prime, great...but I'm not gonna get all excited about catching someone decades after all his damage was done. Like, cool we got em, but what took so long? And why are we celebrating the fact that we couldn't catch this guy til he was 81 freakin years old

I read both "The Westies" and "The Bulger Brothers", this cat did some craaaaaazy shit back in the day.

I, like, a lot of people thought he had fled the country (Ireland was the most likely place) and died of natural causes there.
