Roadside memorials
Every year we see those makeshift monuments along the road where someone has died.
I find it distracting but I also understand the emotional feeling.
What is sad is that as the years go by that once abundance memorial is all but a few plastic flowers and sun bleach out bear if that ….

My best friend died in a car accident when we were 17. Some kids started to do just that and her Mom asked that they not. I guess until you were in that situation it's hard to say how you would feel about it. They do creep me out, but I guess different things make different people feel better.
