I laughed out loud a few times because of the ridiculous exaggerations. That was insane.
Regardless, I'm a big Rocket fan. I hope they win the MAC this year, they've got a legitimate shot.
I think Beckman would be a good hire by Ohio State too, if they went the route of cleaning house (which I am in favor of).

Not that I disagree that he would be a good hire, but he did coach under Tressel at OSU in '05-'06; so he has the Tressel ties and if OSU is looking to cut those ties, they wouldn't hire Beckman IMHO. I honestly would love to see him stay at Toledo, but I don't think that will happen. He'll win a few MAC titles and get picked up by a BCS school.Tobias Fünke;810549 wrote:I laughed out loud a few times because of the ridiculous exaggerations. That was insane.

Beckman was a finalist for the Indiana opening. He wont be at Toledo long.

New Hampshire
@ Ohio State
Boise State
@Syracuse (toss-up)
@Temple
Eastern Michigan
@Bowling Green
Miami
Northern Illinois
Western Michigan
@Central Michigan
@Ball State
MAC Championship
Bowl Game
I don't follow the MAC as much as I used to, but I assume from last year's asskicking that Northern Illinois is the team to beat? I heard Toledo returns a ton of talent, no reason they can't win 9+ in the regular season.

How is Dwight Macon doing? I haven't heard much about him since he matriculated at Toledo.

he's #3 or 4 on the depth chart behind TO and Dantin. I believe he's only a red shirt freshman so he's got time. Heck of an athlete from the limited video I've seen, I hope Owens makes some strides and is a great QB but if not I think Macon is the second most talented QB. Hopefully he doesn't lose his drive by being buried in practice.FairwoodKing;820313 wrote:How is Dwight Macon doing? I haven't heard much about him since he matriculated at Toledo.
