ever watch "Mean Streets?"

A lesser known Martin Scorsese film with Harvey Keitel and Robert DeNiro.

I never seen it before until renting it a few days ago.

I thought it was great. Cool dialogue and character interaction. Especially DeNiro's scene in the bar. Almost as good as the shinebox scene from "Goodfellas."

Awesome soundtrack, too.

I don't care how you get it, Netflix or torrents, but every person should be required to watch The Wire. It's impossible to succinctly explain how powerful, great, and yet entertaining it is.

The Wire/Mad Men/Breaking Bad should be required viewing for anyone that enjoys television.

Best show on tv, ever. Although watching it over and over again Season 5 is a major letdown, Simon's ego got the better of him and we had to deal with his vendetta with his past employer and ridiculous and non-compelling plots. Still the worst season of The Wire is better than anything else on tv - if nothing else to see how Bubbles and the kids from season 4 ended up.

Doug, as in "Hey Skeeter, wanna go to the Honker Burger"?

If yes --- fantastic.

Weeds (seasons 1-5)
Californication
LOST

The Tudors
Top Gear (British Version)

OK, just signed up for the free one-month trial. Sucks that there are some movies not on there (yet) for my kids. What are some suggestions.

Perhaps a better question, who has the best streaming selection out there? Compatible with Wii.

I had never seen any HBO shows until this year when I decided to change that. I have since downloaded and watched The Sopranos, The Wire, and Entourage. All three are great. Can't really compare The Wire or The Sopranos with Entourage because they are different types of shows. The Wire and The Sopranos might be the two best shows I've ever seen. I enjoyed The Sopranos a bit more though.

Sopranos is my #1 show of all time. Watching it for a second time again right now.

Have you seen TrueBlood, Curb, Game of Thrones, or Boardwalk Empire??

They have all seasons of Trailer Park Boys, plus the 2 movies for streaming. One of my all time favs!

Also both seasons of The Office (UK) IMO way better than the US series for streaming as well.

First 2 seasons are online. And yes, its a great show. But not anywhere near Sopranos or The Wire...imo. Still better than anything Cable/Network can put out. Though LOST gave HBO/Showtime a good run for the money. Just imagine if THAT show didnt have limits and was on a premium channel.
