What player in baseball history has the biggest difference in career games played compared to career hits?

Please make sure your answer has more career games than career hits!

Ex.

Reggie Jackson played in 2820 career games....he only had 2584 career hits....so his difference would be 236...which would be a pretty good guess...but not the answer.

ANSWER is Jesse Orosco with a difference of 1242......won by dave

PART 2 of the QUESTION....Name the 10 players in MLB history (no pitchers will be counted) that have played in at least 500 more career games than they have career hits.

wow good question. guessing this is a catcher or middle infielder who was known for their D.

I'll say Brad Ausmus.

Is Pete the answer the opposite direction?

Good job dave! Orosco is the answer at 1242.....now for the 2nd part of the question which you already gave answer #4 with Rafael Belliard

Name the 10 players in MLB history (hitters only please) that have more than 400 more career games than career hits

#4 is Rafael Belliard

Belliard is a great guess. It has to be someone who had a long career but played regularily for something other than hitting. My concern about Belliard would be games played.

He didn't play a ton of games but he was like a career .230 hitter so it's very possible. My guess is it's going to be a catcher. Have to think on it for a little while and then will guess.

Juan Castro
Miguel Cairo
Mickey Tettleton

Matt Stairs
Jason Varitek

shit that is a lot of checking....all solid guesses....

NONE of thsoe guys are on my list of 10 over 400.....but most of them look good enough to check on....ugh?

I do know Dunn is in the 200's still and I'm going to say no way on Bill Hall......Cairo is pretty near 400 I believe but I rememeber him being a little short.

Back in a few.
