Ohio leads the all-time series, 29-17-6, but Marshall has won four straight games and eight of the last nine.

In 2006, Marshall and Ohio signed a six-year football contract to start up the old rivalry in 2010. According to Herdzone.com, the contract dates are as follows:

September 25, 2010 at Marshall
September 17, 2011 at Ohio
September 15, 2012 at Marshall
September 14, 2013 at Ohio
September 13, 2014 at Marshall
September 12, 2015 at Ohio

2 teams I've always rooted for, but just like the MAC days, I gotta go with the Bobcats.

Students get a free ticket.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to go to Detroit and land a free one.

Looks like they are willing to offer Butch Jones (Central Michigan) $650,000 a year... that's over 4x what Snyder made.

I would assume CMU matches this, or something close, and he stays put. It's a lateral move to go to Marshall.

As much as I despise Cabell County CC, I respect the MU administration for putting this much money out there for Jones. He would be a great hire and hopefully get them to a respectable position.

I actually heard rumors they might offer up to 900k, but no idea where that money is coming from.

Yeah I was going to say, UC will almost certainly give Butch Jones a strong look if Kelly leaves. Marshall is really outkicking their coverage on this one

If Scott and Brazill are completely healthy, I can see OU taking the win. If they're still banged up, it'll be a struggle and could be like the CMU game.

It would be nice if OU smacked the Herd around. I remember when Grobe was the coach, they had a couple years where Marshall's presence in the MAC kept them from East Division titles. It might be like a decade or so later, but revenge is a dish best served cold.

Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo just completely destroyed this bowl today in their discussion of the worst bowls.

If anyone gets the SVP show podcast, take a listen.

OU can beat Marshall. Steady dose of Garrett, Theo, Price, and Brazil! Throw in a little Davidson and a tough D and you got yourself a 10-win season!

I root for OU, but I can admit even though they won 9 games, they are not a good football team. Very hard to watch...
