I just moved to Indianapolis this summer to live with my aunt and uncle while I intern at both an engineering and architecture firm...I know the city somewhat from visiting family here, but what is there to do? I have been to Broad Ripple when I was little, but now that I'm 21 I plan on going to the bars there it seems like a fun area.
Anyone know of any good (affordable to a college student) golf courses, preferably on the Northwest side of the city (where I am living)?
Any tips on what to do/were to go would help as of now I have nothing.

Spent a few weeks there for work. We tore up a cow pasture in Zionsville that did not mind us bringing coolers onto the course.osudarby08;804812 wrote: Anyone know of any good (affordable to a college student) golf courses, preferably on the Northwest side of the city (where I am living)?

Broadripple is a trashy overpriced dirt-pit....Was there a few months ago....If your into the bar scene, stick to downtown Indy, 1000 X Better...
Golf....One of the best public courses is actually located on the Indy Speedway...Can be pricey, but its one of the best.
Shopping/Food....Castleton Mall and Keystone Fashion Place, both located in the north side off of I-275...

I played that course last fall. Was on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone there. Beautiful course though and get to play 4 holes inside of the Speedway. Even though you're a college student it's definitely worth doing one time if you can get on during their twilight hours after 3 or 4 when the rate should be pretty decent.
