The Generals are coming off a 7-3 season, which was preceded by 5-5 and 6-4 campaigns. Wooster returns a wealth of talent at the skill positions on offense, but will have questions on the line and at Tight End. Defensively the Generals return leading tackler Grant Stokes in the middle, but will have to replace some key contributers in the Secondary and on the Defensive line. Coach Mike McCreary's squad always seems to be around the 6-4 mark, but can't seem to kick the door in and get back to the playoffs. Will this be the year? I was happy to see the Generals removed Galion from the schedule, but not too sure how I feel about them playing two Akron City Series schools. Wooster jumps to Region 7 this year, and I'm not too sure if that's a good thing or not. Thoughts or Predictions?

One thing that sticks out to me looking at the schedule, At Ashalnd, Lexington, Clear Fork, and Orrville, thats tough to have to go to all four of thoughs schools in one year!

The Generals have been putting in time in the weight room this offseason. I like the OOC games, I thought they got slighted last year against Wadsworth given that the grizzlies weren't at full strength. I believe the two Akron teams do prepare them for OCC competition, and as was mentioned earlier playing the Big 4 in the OCC on the road is brutal. Another feather in the cap for the Athletic Department. Good job.

I don't know if I can bear another 6-4 or 7-3 season, and on the outside looking in come Week 11.

7-3 at least if they want to play in Week 11. Maybe this is the year Big Mike can get it done.

Hate to say it, but 0-2 out of the box is a real possibility. Can't do that and expect to be playing in week 11.
UNC is right about those road OCC games. Reality is, they need to win 3 of those 4 games to have any real post-season aspirations.

Does Wooster have a Quarterback coach working with the QB's and skilled players in the summer?
