I was curious if we have any Orange County Chatters. My company is relocating me to Irvine, CA and I'm looking for places to live. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the area, but so far I have looked at places on Main Street and Alton in Irvine. A couple of co-workers have told me to look at Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Tustin. I wasn't sure if we had any fellow Chatters from this region who might be able to provide feedback or comments regarding places to look.

From my experience of living in SoCal, Huntington Beach is a pretty nice area. That's all the helpful information I can really give though.

The beach itself isn't great, but the Huntington Beach area is okay.

You could ask Ender, as I believe he's in LA (not been there that long, though, if I remember correctly).

I lived in Orange County for three years during law school. Lived in Aliso Viejo, which is about 15 minutes or so from Irvine. Beautiful place. Only a 5 minute drive to Laguna Beach. Highly recommended.
