Apparently he keeps posting a link to a site he is a part of... "ohsn.org" and it is a very unsafe site virus wise. I know a poster yesterday reported it saying his malware protection marked it as unsafe for 5 different reasons. On mine I got 2 knocks against it.
I know we don't want to start saying no links are not allowed to other ohio sports site. But his seems infested with crap.
Do we warn him or what do we do?
Here's a link to a post of his with the site.

I'll send him a warning and remove any instance of that website and put that it is triggering virus notifications for a lot of people.

I looked at the link exchange and found two instances of two different people linking that OHSN.org site.
I definitely dont' think people are trying to be malicious... the site just has security issues.

Yeah, I agree. Oberhaus had the link as his signature, I deleted it and sent him a message letting him know what is up.Fly4Fun wrote: I looked at the link exchange and found two instances of two different people linking that OHSN.org site.

Oberhaus passed along that BuckeyeFalls is the admin of the site so I sent him a message.

So what was the final verdict on what to do with links to OSHN that appear to be a computer security risk?

Can you guys with virus software check them again to see if they are still triggering it. BuckeyeFalls PM'd me yesterday letting me know that he thinks they resolved the issue.

I'm still getting 2 threats when I visit their links. I saw two more posts of Leonardo as a thread starter with a link to their page. I checked them out and got the same warning from my software about the threats.justincredible wrote: Can you guys with virus software check them again to see if they are still triggering it. Also, in general, people spamming other sports websites should be discouraged? We allow the link exchange thread... but Leonardo just goes to some of the high school forums and starts threads such as "Where are they now - *******" then the only thing in the thread is a link to the OHSN site.

Isn't that in the moderators notes? I just refer to him by his moniker here to avoid confusion.Trueblue23 wrote: Leonardo = Liteinthetunnel, just fyi
Hmmm, apparently it isn't. I thought it was at some point. Or I heard it at some point at least. Thanks for making sure we know though!

That's not good. We don't want to link to a site that we know is full of viruses.
