They might, but I don't think I've ever heard of them mentioned as a serious competition.

I've taken password's advice and I am working on some code that will scan every post and start charging for everything that could be considered offensive or inappropriate. This means everyone will have to have a paypal on file in your account so I can make the monthly deductions.

So, does anyone have a business that they'd like to promote on the site? I'm thinking of adding sponsorships to individual forums and possibly one large one for the site, like I Wear Pants mentioned.

Not sure, but my thoughts were you would pay $X per month to have your name associated with a forum and $Y per month to have the main sponsorship. Just don't know what those number are and what the terms would be, like month to month, or buy in 3 month packages, or whatever. I'd need to put more, actual thought into the idea.
