I was taking a shower ... three minutes after this was taken a sniper put a hole in the water bag ... bastard I still had soap to rinse off..

belly what unit was you in over there? my dad was a tunnel rat i think is what he called it. he wasnt a nice guy for several years after. He always talked about rather be in a tunnel then out in the open cause of the damn snipers. He was there from '68-'70. he almost served three tours but got three purple hearts in a three months time and got sent home. He still to this day has some mental problems about the place.
