Very well worth it. Only downfall ( if they still operate the same hours as when I used their service) is the last ferry back to mainland runs something like 6-7 pm. If your not staying the night that time might be a little early to leave the island

They don't run late into the night like the Jet, so if you plan on getting there or leaving late check the schedule. Otherwise it's close to Columbus (not sure where you are from) by almost 30 minutes, they have free parking on the mainland, and it's only $13 per person round trip (the Jet is $14 one way). It doesn't take you downtown, but it's only an 18 minute trip from dock to dock (Jet is almost twice as long). There is a bus and taxi's waiting to take you into town for about $3 a person, so even with the taxi it's still almost half what the Jet will cost you.

We have a house on the island that's only 1/4 mile from the Miller dock, but even if it wasn't, I'd still take the Miller over the Jet.

Last week the wife and I visited Put-n-Bay
We take the Jet Express and rent a golf cart once on the island.

I always take the Miller Ferry. Cheaper and faster and there are always taxis waiting that can take you downtown or to the state park.

I took it Saturday. As stated before, it is much cheaper than the jet. We were going to rent a golf cart anyway, so it did not matter which side of the island we landed on.

The first time I went to put-in-bay I took the ferry and bought round trip tickets. One of my friends was under 21 so we didn't go to any bars and we also didn't realize there wouldn't be any place to stay, missed the last ferry and had to take the Jet express back. It was a fail of a trip.

Every summer growing up. I always took rides to Kelly's Island and Kingston Canada. The Canada one is pretty much an all day affair.

I rented a moped one time at PIB, and went down this backroad and came upon these guys at a garage. They yelled and screamed at me to "get the hell out of here"...not sure what they were up to, but it couldn't have been legal.

If I was staying in PIB for the night, I'd take Miller over the Jet.
