like 8" deep and 6' around for the baby.

Both of our parents have a pool, so we go swimming there. It's the way to go...

Have one in our community that we pay for with our HOA. That's as close to owning one I'll ever get.

Did the same thing as soon as my wife and I moved into this house. There was a big 25' above ground pool with a deck that we tore out as soon as we could.

I would much rather have a big yard than a pool.

Had a pool growing up, it was such a pain keeping it clean we eventually just tore it down to remove the headache. Skim it, clean the filter, shock away the algae, it just wasn't worth it to us anymore.

I grew up with a pool too. It was a pain in the ass, but I loved it. I have so many good memories from that. My current house doesn't have enough room or I would have one for sure.

42 x 24 oval in-ground deep end with a dive and a slide, heated. Kids love it. It's fun when it's clean which, once it is, is easy to maintain.

Just not enough weather to justify the damn thing though is my only complaint.

don't need the add work nor the cost

With that said ..... It would be nice for the grandkids............. Wife likes the idea and we have the property. This idea has been kicked around for a few years now.
I would rather buy some lake front property and do the getaway weekend at the cabin idea....

Just a little 15 ft round 4 ft deep pool. Had a little problem with some minor leaks, but it is up and running. Since I get paid to do nothing in the summer with the worlds greatest benefits, a pool is no problem for me!

We have one of those pop up pools (The ones with the metal poles NOT the inflatable ones). It's 15 ft around and 4 feet deep. We paid like 175 for it at Menards last summer. Big enough for my wife and I and when we have BBQs in the summer. Nothing special but perfect for right now.

The best part is is that my wife pushed for it. so she cleans it.

I grew up with a pool. My parents put it in when I was in 7th grade and then they moved when I was 21. LOVED having it and my parents definitely want another one.

No pool for us yet but when we buy a house we're definitely looking for a yard with big enough space to put one in.

Growing up neighbors had one of the standard 5 ft deep round above ground pools.

Helped put it up and swan in it for years. Funny story....woman bought the chemicals and treated the pool.

A few weeks ago she goes back to the store to get more. Guy there said "you need more? I sold you enough for the whole summer last time"

The pool actually would fizz when we would jump in with so many chemicals that first summer! I always say I will die with a new aliment or live forever becuase of it. It was funny..i had these plantar warts on bottom of my feet. Dr tried everything except surgey to get them out with no avail Tried diff things for a couple of years.

1 month swimming in this chemical iduced poool took them away forever!
