what is the bigger surprise to you?....the indians or the twins?

The Twins. I thought the Tribe would contend for the AL Central, didn't think the Twins would suck ass though.

I am really shocked at how good the Indians are playing, but the Twins awfulness is even more surprising to me.

For some reason I don't get all that shocked when teams play well, even if not expected.

It always shocks the hell out of me when good teams(Twins) play like shit, especially consistently like they have this year.

Twins but I almost went with option #3.

Take it from a guy who coaches, it is a lot easier for a 'good' team to play bad, than for a bad team to rise up and play well. For that matter the Indians have shocked me. The Tribe is not a team coming off a playoff year. There are new players all over the diamond. Key players coming off injuries. A starting rotation that has no pedigree. No bona fide "ace". Nothing would suggest that this team had a chance in hell of being .500 let alone 13 games over. The Twins are a pretty solid team...veterans, playoff experienced, proven pitching staff. Yet teams like this can get cocky, lazy....maybe sluff a little on the workouts. They hit the skids and then they start to press. It's always easier to play down, than to play "up"
