Balloon ride the wife and I did two weeks ago.
Anyone else ever take a Balloon ride? …. Your thoughts?

It was fun in the beginning but got boring after the first 30 minutes…

A guy I worked with quit his job to start his own hot air balloon company. He offers rides and advertising with his balloons and has a few pilots on his payroll. He seems to be going well with it. I've thought about riding in one even though I don't like heights.

...I was playing golf once at Tannenhauf in Alliance and one of those hot air ballons came down on the course. The bag had rip in it and as it go close the the ground, it caught some trees and 3 people spilled out of the basket from about 20 ft. They were F'd up but lived and right then and there decided that there was no way in the world that I'd ever get into one of those things!

This is one of the big reasons why I have no interest. I'd rather skydive.

The closest I came was parasailing, and I admit, that was pretty boring as well. Fun on the way up, but pretty lame after that.
