Who is the manager of the Jays and is Patterson hooked up with his daughter? Since that was the hot topic rumor as to why he got regular playing time with the Reds.
Then again, in a coincidence, Gomes had four hits today for the Reds, so maybe today was a day for maligned outfielders to shine!

Patterson has as many hits in the past two games as he did for the Reds in 2008 from May 20th thru July 30th. During that time he started 17 games and played in most games during that atrocious stretch.
