Ohio State was down 3-0 and only had 3 hits vs Minnesota going into the 8th. The Buckeyes have rallied and scored 5 runs in the 8th. Buckeyes are 3 out away from winning game 1.

OSU wins 5-3! They advance to the winners bracket and the Gophers go to the losers bracket.
The Buckeyes will play Illinois or Michigan State. If Purdue wins the Bucks will play Illinois. If Purdue losses the Bucks will pay Michigan St.

Buckeyes pulling out some more magic. Tied 1-1 in the 8th the Bucks get the first runner on by a walk. Then the next batter the Bucks catcher hits a inside the park homerun. The Bucks are up 3-1 on the #1 seed Illinois.

OSU has a freshman don't know his name but he is throwing 96-100 MPH, then he drops the hook in at 76. He was drafted by the Yankees out of high school.

Illinois rallies in the 9th and have tied it. The Buckeyes coach is a fucking idiot. He had two guys ready in the bullpen and he let his closer who threw 55 pitches and walked 2 straight batters stay in. Well Illinois made him pay.

The Buckeyes coach should be fucking fired after his piss poor coaching tonight. Illinois just scored the game winning run. Up 4-1 in the 9th, he let a kid walk guy after guy.

Josh Desze from Olentangy Liberty.
Beals should not have brought Desze in for the bottom of the 8th.
