Taylor did a pretty good number at last years CMA Awards. I'm a fan of country music though..more the older stuff..but still listen to the new stuff too. The opening promo between Brad Paisley and my wife was great. The songs they were singing were funny. And I agree..I think Garth will be the one coming back tonight too.

Darius Rucker actually puts on a great show live too! Seen him with Rascal Flatts and Dierks Bentley this past August. Not a Flatts fan either..but it was actually a great show too. Highly recommend it if you ever get the chance.

If you listen to the music from Hootie it's not much different from what he is doing now. I love the fact that he won, and not because he is black in an all white genre, but because his music is awesome.

Never listened to Hootie..glad to see he won too..actually..for the reason you mentioned..kinda shows country is evolving with the times a bit..and yes..the Daughtry and Vince Gill was pretty good too..surprisingly..as I can't stand either of them. Lol
